About Lorishs Lawn Care

The Ararat River runs cold out of the foothills here, and the bottomland along it stays green well after the ridges have gone dry. Lorishs Lawn Care works the yards up and down that valley in Surry County: mowing, edging along gravel and concrete, string trimming out to the fence, gathering the clippings off the hard surfaces. Summer mornings start cool in this country and turn hot by noon, so the routes run early. Autumn hands the work over to leaves, hauled out of yard corners and off the walks. Nothing complicated about any of it — just a property that looks looked-after when the truck leaves.
