Cutting Edge of Rockwell

About Cutting Edge of Rockwell

Summer afternoons in Alleghany County often close with a thunderstorm grumbling over the ridgeline, and the grass is growing again before the New River has finished rising. Cutting Edge of Rockwell keeps ahead of that rain-fed growth, cutting lawns back before they run wild and drawing sharp lines where turf meets drive and walk. In a county of switchback roads and sloping yards, no two cuts look quite alike. A crisp edge set against all that wild mountain green is a small declaration of order in big country. On a July evening, with the storm gone and cool air sliding off the river, a fresh-cut lawn smells like summer itself.
