Alligator Lawn/Landscape

About Alligator Lawn/Landscape

Morning comes slow over Albright, dew silvering the fescue until the sun climbs above the pine line and burns it off. That is when the mowers roll out, down red-clay lanes that hold the print of every tire since the last rain. Alligator Lawn/Landscape cuts and trims lawns across this stretch of Chatham County farm country, where a yard runs right up to a hayfield and the line between the two ought to be clean. There is real satisfaction in the last pass along a gravel drive, edges struck true, cut grass blown back off the stone. By evening the lawn stands even as a tabletop, and the crickets have the place to themselves.
