Lawns and More

About Lawns and More

On a Saturday morning downtown Albemarle is slow in the good way, and out past the courthouse blocks the mowers have already been running an hour. Lawns and More makes the full round — cut, trim, edge, blow the walks — and then the more part: leaves cleared, beds tidied, an overgrown corner brought back into the fold. Stanly County yards run from flat corner lots to slopes that need thinking about, and both end the same, with the clippings off the concrete. It is the sort of work that quietly sets the tone of a whole street. A row of finished lawns makes a neighborhood look like it is paying attention.
