All-in-one lawn care

About All-in-one lawn care

Morning comes slowly over the coves where Abbotts Creek widens into High Rock Lake, and the fog does not lift so much as thin, leaving the grass beaded and gray-green until the sun finds it. That is the hour this lawn care business likes best — deck set, the first pass laid down while the air is still cool enough to work in. The work is ordinary and exact: straight lines across a Piedmont yard, string trimming close around mailbox posts and fence corners, an edge cut clean along the drive so the concrete reads like a drawn line. By afternoon the clippings are blown off the walk and the place looks like someone paid attention to it. Around Abbotts Creek, Lexington and Thomasville, that is the whole ambition — a yard that looks cared for from the road.
