About Townsend Trucking

Victor rests on the floor of the Bitterroot Valley, with the jagged Bitterroot Range to the west and the rounder Sapphires to the east, and winter storms come down off those peaks in long gray curtains. Townsend Trucking turns out on those mornings to clear snow from driveways so the day can start on schedule. Trucking work breeds a respect for traction and timing, and that respect shows when a path is scraped back cleanly to the gravel. After a storm the valley can be breathtaking, cottonwoods along the Bitterroot River frosted white and the canyon mouths smoking with cloud. Getting neighbors moving safely through all that beauty, early in the day, is the whole point.
