About Builders FirstSource

There is a moment on the edge of Sidney when a new address stops being bare dirt and starts being a yard. Builders FirstSource works the lawn side of that turn — mowing, trimming, edging, and feeding the ground while the grass knits itself together. Late May in the Yellowstone Valley is the window: the cottonwoods finally leaf out, the nights let go of frost, and everything grows at once, hard and fast. The reward is watching a raw lot come up thick and level, with a clean line where the grass meets the walk and no thin ground left along the foundation. After that it is a matter of keeping the height honest week after week, which in this country is most of the job.
