About CM Custom Services LLC

Look west from a farm road outside Shepherd on a clear winter midday and the Billings Rimrocks stand up pale against the sky, close enough to feel like part of the same valley even with miles of open field between. CM Custom Services LLC works that stretch of county and farm roads through the middle of the day, when a storm has passed and the real job becomes packing down what's left before it refreezes into ruts overnight. Yellowstone County ag land runs flat and wide here, broken mostly by shelterbelts and the odd grain bin, so a plowed road stands out as one of the only marked lines across it. Getting to driveways before the afternoon sun softens the top layer of snow, then lets it refreeze hard after dark, makes the difference between a clean surface and a sheet of ice by evening chores. It's a schedule built around that midday window, more than around any particular storm.
