Out toward the old Fort Missoula grounds, where the historic buildings sit spaced out across open lawns now used for parks and museums, RR Plowing clears the long driveways and access roads that wind between them. Snow gets pushed back from the wide lots so visitors and staff can park close, and walkways between buildings get shoveled to bare ground. The roads connecting the grounds to the neighborhoods nearby get plowed early enough that the first arrivals never have to break trail. The open fields drift instead of packing, and the routes get planned around exactly that.
