Mountain Made LAND-LAWN-SNOW

About Mountain Made LAND-LAWN-SNOW

At five on a January morning the valley holds its cold like water in a bowl, fog lying flat over the rooftops, the mountains above it in clear starlight. That is when Mountain Made LAND-LAWN-SNOW is already moving — a plow blade dropped, a driveway opened, a walk shoveled and salted so the first person out the door at seven never has to think about it. Come June the same trucks carry mowers instead, and the work turns to cutting, trimming and edging through the long green weeks. Snow clearing, lawn care and land work, all of it made for a place that swings from twenty below to ninety-five. Whatever the sky does over Missoula, the drive gets cleared and the grass gets cut.
