About Gilly's Dust Control & De-Icng

The gravel roads running out toward Bonner turn to washboard ice by December, and Gilly's Dust Control & De-Icng runs those routes before the school buses and log trucks do. Driveways get plowed back from the road, aprons get sanded so tires can find the shoulder again, and the walkways at the little roadside places along the way get shoveled and salted through the worst of it. The canyon holds its cold close, shadowed most of the day by the ridges on either side, so the ice doesn't give up easily. Out here the roads stay passable because someone keeps running them before the ice can win.
