About Flathead Cut LLC

Straight noon in July, out past Evergreen where the Flathead River loops around Church Slough, and the heat sits still over the fields. Flathead Cut LLC is out in it, laying stripes that run true from one corner of a yard to the other. Mowing is the center of this business — weekly, on the same day, with the trimmer following the fence line and the edger putting a hard shoulder on the drive. Clippings get blown off the concrete and hauled, so nothing tracks indoors. It is a plain trade, and a lawn that shows its lines says so from the street.
