About Alpine Greens Lawn Care

Morning arrives in the Flathead from the top down — the Swan Range catches it first, then the benchland, then at last the grass out on the Creston flats, still stiff with dew. Alpine Greens Lawn Care likes that hour, when the mower leaves a dark track through silver. Valley ground runs thin and gravelly in places, so the work here leans on core aeration in the shoulder seasons and overseeding to thicken what the summer wore down. Weekly mowing and trimming carry the rest of the calendar, right through the hazy stretch of August when every yard wants water and shade. What comes of it is a lawn that holds its color deep into September, long after the hayfields east of town have gone tawny.
