Cottonwoods line the Stillwater River through Joliet, their bare branches holding a fresh snowfall's weight until a warm afternoon or a stiff wind finally shakes it loose. AAA Trees On the Move clears that fallout along with the snow itself — driveways and lots plowed, storm-broken limbs hauled off before they block a lane or a gate. To the south the Beartooth peaks stay rimmed white long after the valley floor has gone back to brown, a reminder of how much colder it stays at elevation than down here among the ranches.
