Helena Hedge Trimming

About Helena Hedge Trimming

June in the Sixth Ward smells like lilac, and the old hedges along those streets have been leaning toward the sidewalks since before most of the cars parked beneath them. Helena Hedge Trimming keeps yards on those blocks in order: mowing to a set height, edging where lawn meets walk, and running the string trimmer tight along hedge lines and fence posts so nothing goes woolly at the base. What the blade throws comes up, and the sidewalk is left bare. There is a particular satisfaction in a straight line held across a whole block of properties that were never quite square to begin with. Helena rewards that kind of attention.
