Elkhorn Lawn and Maintenance

About Elkhorn Lawn and Maintenance

South of town the Elkhorns hold snow in their high basins into June while the valley floor is already growing hard and fast. Elkhorn Lawn and Maintenance runs its mowing routes through that mismatch, taking properties in Helena and out toward Montana City and Clancy on a schedule built to stay ahead of a quick spring. Trimming goes around posts, sheds and tree rings; edges are held to a line; what the blade throws is picked up. There is a plain pride in a yard kept even all season rather than rescued twice a year. From the road that is what a maintained place looks like — nothing dramatic, nothing out of place.
