Above It All Snow Removal

About Above It All Snow Removal

The land in Helena township rolls up into low ridges with oak lines along the crests, high enough that on a clear winter night you can see farmyard lights strung out for miles. Above It All Snow Removal works those ridges and the gravel roads between them, plowing residential drives, farm approaches and commercial lots through the New Prague and Jordan country. Walks and entries get cleared by hand, and slopes that end at a step get treated so the footing holds. Scott County snow arrives sideways off the open fields between woodlots, so a route often means coming back a second time — which is simply part of it. There is a kind of order in a drive cut clean from garage door to county road while everything around it is still white.
