Cut Above Lawn Care

About Cut Above Lawn Care

Look south from almost any street in Havre and the Bear Paw Mountains stand up out of flat country like something the prairie decided to keep. Cut Above Lawn Care starts early, when the dew is still heavy and the light coming over the Beaver Creek road is the color of new hay, because grass cuts cleanest before the day gets loud. A mower walked in straight, overlapping passes leaves a lawn with grain to it — you can see the rows shift as you move around the yard, the way a wheat field changes when the wind turns. Trimming and edging finish what the deck can't, so the turf stops exactly where it should and the concrete looks like concrete again. Spring and fall cleanups bracket the short green season this country gives you. The reward is simple and it lasts all week: a yard that looks cared for from the sidewalk, the porch and the alley alike.
