Landscape Construction & Design spends the warm months shaping the walkways and drives it clears every winter, so the paths it plows in January are the same ones it laid stone for in June. Ranch country stretches wide around Harrison, the Jefferson Valley opening flat and pale under a low winter sun, and a driveway out here often runs a good distance before it ever reaches a road. Clearing that distance means knowing the ground underneath the snow — where a border sits, where a drive narrows — as well as knowing where the snow itself tends to pile.
