About Commercial Yard Services

The old Milwaukee Road roundhouse still marks Harlowton as the town where steam once gave way to electric locomotives, and the rail yard it served sits along the Musselshell River not far from the lots Commercial Yard Services clears today. The Crazy Mountains rise sharp on the horizon north of town, holding snow long after the valley floor below has gone brown again in a thaw. Commercial ground here — elevator yards, equipment lots, loading areas — needs a different kind of clearing than a house driveway, wider passes and somewhere real to push the snow that isn't just the middle of the lot. Wheatland County winters can lock a gravel yard hard enough that nothing moves until it's been cleared end to end. Getting a commercial lot open again is what lets the rest of a Harlowton workday start.
