Thompson Tree Care

About Thompson Tree Care

A heavy wet snow bends tree limbs low over the quiet streets near Broadwater Bay, the same limbs Thompson Tree Care prunes and cables the rest of the year now just holding weight until it lets go on its own or gets shaken free. Winter work here runs alongside the trees rather than instead of them — driveways cleared under branches that are themselves carrying a full load of snow, walkways kept open around root flare and low limbs. This side of the river sits lower and calmer than the exposed bench above, and snow tends to build up steadily through a storm instead of drifting the way it does on higher ground. The crew reads a yard the way they would in summer, working around what the trees are doing, not just what the ground looks like. A cleared driveway under a snow-heavy elm is its own particular kind of tidy.
