Grass Whackers

About Grass Whackers

Great Falls is stitched through with coulees, and wherever the ground breaks the grass grows exactly where a mower cannot follow. Grass Whackers takes that on with a string trimmer in July heat — fence lines, alley edges, the tall stuff around posts and foundations that leaves an otherwise good yard looking unfinished. The mower handles the middle; the trimming is what makes the whole thing read as complete from the curb. The last pass down a fence is a small pleasure, everything suddenly level, clippings blown back into the turf. Then on to the next one with the afternoon still wide open.
