Gibson Park is still dark and empty when Fred's Snow Plowing makes its first pass of the morning, headlights cutting through whatever the overnight system left behind. Great Falls streets slope gently down toward the river from the benches above, and a plow has to work with that grade or fight it all winter. The goal every morning is the same — driveways scraped clear before anyone needs to back out for work, walkways safe before the school run starts. Daylight reaches the park's bare cottonwoods only after most of the block already has a clean line cut from garage to street. It's routine, repeated work, timed to the rhythm of a city that still has to get moving no matter what fell overnight.
