Falls Tree Service

About Falls Tree Service

Ice builds slow and jagged along the rock shelf at Black Eagle Falls through the coldest weeks of a Great Falls winter, spray freezing in place until the river looks carved rather than flowing. Falls Tree Service works the neighborhood in its shadow, streets laid out a century back for the mill workers who once worked beneath the old smelter stack that still stands there. Snow off the Missouri breaks differently in this low ground than on the open bench above town — heavier, wetter, the kind that loads a driveway fast. The crew clears walks and driveways block by block through Black Eagle before moving toward the rest of Great Falls, working the same streets they know from summer tree work. A cleared path past a frost-heavy hedge, the falls roaring white just out of sight, is a small daily fact of this part of town.
