About PowderHorn Landcare

Out in Powder River country, along the river folks like to call a mile wide and an inch deep, a green lawn is something you earn. East of the river the land rolls away in sagebrush benches and scoria-capped buttes, and the cottonwoods down in the bottoms hold the only shade worth talking about. PowderHorn Landcare works this ground in lawn care, keeping yards mowed, trimmed and holding their color through the dry heat of a June afternoon. There is pride in that small square of soft grass by the door, edged clean against the gravel while the prairie beyond fades to straw. Out here, a patch of green says somebody stayed and tended it.
