McGinnis & Son Sprinkler Winterization

About McGinnis & Son Sprinkler Winterization

There's a week each October when the wind comes off Homestake Pass with real teeth in it, and the whole valley starts thinking about frost lines. That's the week for the compressor: valve by valve, zone by zone, water pushed out of the lines before the ground locks up for six months. McGinnis & Son Sprinkler Winterization handles the fall blowouts and the startups when the soil finally lets go in spring, along with the lawn work in between. Nothing about it is glamorous — just the hiss of air clearing a head and the small certainty that nothing will split under the snow. Come May the system wakes like it never slept, and the grass greens on schedule.
