Fleecer Mountain Home and Land Services

About Fleecer Mountain Home and Land Services

Southwest of Butte the country climbs toward Fleecer Mountain, and the properties out that direction get generous — a house, a shop, a long drive, and a lawn that has to make peace with sagebrush at its edges. Fleecer Mountain Home and Land Services handles that kind of ground in late summer, mowing the kept green, trimming the rough where it crowds the buildings, and edging the drive so the whole place has a defined front to it. Big lots reward a plan: cut in a pattern that doesn't scalp the high spots, take the shaded north side a touch longer, and keep the clippings off gravel where they'd only blow around. Out here the difference between tended and untended is visible from a quarter mile down the road. Getting it right makes a place look settled against a very large mountain.
