About Grasslands LLC

Out around Broadus the land is one long conversation between grass and sky, prairie rolling away in every direction with cattle drifting through it like slow boats. Grasslands LLC works the tamer end of that story, mowing, trimming and caring for the lawns where wild range gives way to the home yard. On a July evening, after the heat lifts off the land, the smell of fresh-cut grass carries down quiet streets. The sun goes down red over the rangeland, and the yard lies cool and even underfoot. It is a fitting craft for a place defined by grass: honoring all that open prairie by keeping one small patch of it green and close.
