About Harkins Dynamics

Main Street in Bozeman keeps its old brick face even in the dead of winter, storefront awnings sagging under a night's accumulation while the coffee shops start their lights before six. Harkins Dynamics runs the routes that keep that stretch of downtown moving — the sidewalks in front of the shops, the loading alleys behind them, the small commercial lots tucked between buildings a century old. Diesel exhaust curls into cold air as the plow works block by block, and there's a certain math to timing it right: early enough that the first customers aren't wading through drifts, late enough that the overnight snow has actually stopped falling. Some mornings the job is quick, a dusting brushed aside before anyone notices. Other mornings, with the Gallatin Valley locked under a hard storm, it's a longer push through packed snow that fought back the whole way.
