About simply lawn mowing

October puts frost on the shady side of a yard by seven in the morning, and planes drop in low over the fields west of Jackrabbit Lane on their way down. simply lawn mowing runs the last rounds of the year in that clear cold air: final cuts as growth slows, trimming and edging while the ground is still workable, and leaf and clipping cleanup so nothing mats down beneath the first snow. The valley turns tan and open, the mountains get their white back, and the lawns go into winter cut short and swept clean. There is order in a yard closed out properly. It is a good way to finish a season.
