From certain driveways on Belgrade's north side, the Bridger Range fills the whole windshield, Sacagawea Peak holding snow long after the valley floor has gone to mud and back to white again, and K2 Ventures works that same rhythm — up before the peak catches light, down every street on the route while the valley is still quiet. A plowed drive here has to survive more than one kind of winter weather in the same week: a foot of dry powder one night, a wind-packed crust the next, and the blade angle changes with it. Walkways get cleared to bare concrete rather than left slick under a thin layer, because black ice on a Belgrade sidewalk in January doesn't announce itself. Commercial properties get the same attention as a single driveway — corners opened up, snow pushed back far enough that a week of storms doesn't erase the lot lines. By the time the peak's white catches full sun, the valley floor below it is already clear.
