About Hyalite Lawn care, LLC

Look south from a Belgrade street in early July and there is still snow up under Hyalite Peak, white against the dark timber while the valley below has been mowing for two months. Hyalite Lawn care, LLC takes its name from that view and its schedule from the ground underneath it — mowing, trimming, edging, and cleanups at both ends of the season. Grass here grows hard and fast under long northern daylight, then quits all at once, so the weekly pass is what keeps a lawn even instead of shaggy. There is a particular pleasure in the moment the mower shuts off and the yard goes quiet and square. Cool mountain air comes down the canyon by evening, and the lawn is already done.
