About Alpine Reflections Inc.

There is a minute in early June when the Bridger Range goes pink above Belgrade and the dew hasn't lifted off the grass yet — that is when the mowers roll out. Alpine Reflections Inc. keeps lawns on the valley floor, where the light comes in thin and enormous and everything green has to make its case in a short, generous season. The work is mowing, trimming, edging and the seasonal cleanups that bracket the year, done so the stripes still read straight when the sun climbs high and flattens everything. A yard out here is a small, deliberate answer to a very large landscape, and it earns its clean line at the sidewalk. By the time the first flights lift over the valley, the crew is two streets on.
