Premier Lawn and Nursery

About Premier Lawn and Nursery

Roosters, mowers and the steady drone of poultry-house fans make up the summer music of Walnut Grove, a small Leake County town tucked into the rolling pine hills of central Mississippi. Premier Lawn and Nursery keeps yards here mowed, trimmed and neat, and the nursery in its name hints at a fondness for anything that grows. Late May brings the first real heat, when Bermuda grass wakes all the way up and every lawn seems to stretch overnight. A regular cut and a sharp trim along beds and drives keep that growth in hand, so each yard reads clean from the road. Out here, where fields and woods crowd right up to the edge of town, a well-kept lawn is a small declaration of love for the place.
