Davis Yard Works

About Davis Yard Works

Victoria sits back in the red-clay hills of Marshall County, where pine ridges break up the pasture and the gravel roads go up and over instead of around. Davis Yard Works starts early out here, mowing before the dew burns off, trimming around posts and mailboxes and edging where the yard meets the road. Hill-country lots are rarely level and almost never square, so a good cut has to be worked out rather than simply driven. What it buys is a place that looks kept — grass even over the roll of the ground, borders clear, clippings carried away. The rotation comes back around all season, right through the fall clearing.
