B&G Land and Tree

About B&G Land and Tree

Vicksburg sits on loess bluffs so steep the oaks lean out over the Mississippi, and every yard here is carved from that same soft, generous soil. B&G Land and Tree works those slopes — mowing, trimming, and clearing the limbs and brush a river-town summer throws down after a hard night of wind. There is real satisfaction in stepping back at the end of an afternoon and seeing a lot that had gone shaggy come back into shape, the grass even, the tree line tidy again. Warren County grows fast from March on, and keeping level with it is the whole art. The bluff will always do what it wants; the yard, at least, can be made to look cared for.
