Mallette Sod

About Mallette Sod

First light over a sod field is worth seeing: flat green running to the treeline, dew burning off in a low sun, cut rolls stacked heavy with Jackson County dirt still clinging to them. Mallette Sod grows and lays turf for Vancleave yards — ground prepped and graded, seams set tight, the whole lawn watered in before the day turns hot. What was bare sand at breakfast is a yard by supper, and that turn is hard to beat. Between installs there is mowing, edging and trimming to keep established grass thick and level. Turf takes hold quickly in this coastal warmth, and by the second week the seams have vanished altogether.
