Wish Lawn Care

About Wish Lawn Care

By six in the evening the hills around Tupelo go gold, and the crepe myrtles along the side streets throw long shadows over yards that have been waiting all week. Wish Lawn Care is out in that light, finishing — the last lap of the mower, the trimmer around a mailbox post, the walk cleared so the house looks tended when headlights swing into the drive. Mowing, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanups, fresh mulch in the beds and leaves off the grass when the season asks for it: the ordinary list, carried all the way to the end. Mississippi summers ask a great deal of a yard and of whoever is keeping one, and there is real gladness in handing somebody back a Friday evening they do not have to spend behind a mower. From Tupelo on out to Saltillo, Shannon and Fulton, the aim never changes — leave a place looking cared for.
