About Delta Contracting Services, LLC

On a horizon this flat you can watch a thunderhead build for an hour before it ever reaches you, and a good deal of mowing gets done in that hour. Delta Contracting Services, LLC keeps lawns and grounds cut, trimmed and edged around Tunica, working the yards along the section-line roads where cotton and soybean start at the property line. Grass runs hard in this heat and this water — a week away and it tells on you. So the rhythm is the craft: coming back before a yard gets ahead of anybody, leaving clean lines against the drive and around every fence post. There is a plain satisfaction in a wide lot brought down even, the clippings blown off the concrete, the whole place sitting quiet as the rain finally comes across.
