About Smith Lawn Management

Thaxton sits in the red-clay hills of Pontotoc County, where Highway 6 runs the ridge and every yard has a slope in it somewhere. Smith Lawn Management handles those slopes — mowing across the grade, trimming the banks and ditch lines, edging the drive where the clay always wants to wash into it. Autumn up here is the good stretch: the heat breaks, the hills go gold and rust, and a mowed lawn stands out sharply against all that color. Regular visits through the growing season keep hillside grass thick enough to hold the ground it stands on. It is practical work that happens to look good when it is done.
