About Shumpert Lawn Services LLC.

Shannon lies open below Tupelo, where the hills give out and the black prairie takes over, the sky doing most of the work in the view and Highway 45 running past the edge of town. Grass on that dark ground comes on strong the moment April warms it, and Shumpert Lawn Services LLC. meets it there — mowing wide yards and small ones, edging drives, trimming fence corners and around outbuildings. Lee County wind scatters clippings, so the blowers go last and the concrete comes up bare. There is a plainspoken pleasure in a front yard mowed like a field, the lines running straight out toward the road. Through the leaf months the same trucks handle the cleanup.
