About Cory's Lawn Service

By two o'clock in July the thunderheads are already stacking up south of Saucier, white and enormous, walking inland off the Gulf. Cory's Lawn Service reads that sky like a clock — mow, trim, edge, blow, and be loaded before the first fat drops hit Highway 49. Rain here doesn't ask permission and neither does the grass that follows it, so the route runs week to week without argument. There is a real satisfaction in a yard finished just ahead of the weather: stripes still fresh, the boundary between turf and gravel unmistakable, the driveway swept bare. When the cooler months slow everything down, the same care goes into cleanups and cutting back what summer overgrew.
