About J. M. Duncan, Inc.

October turns the hardwoods above Ripley to hickory yellow and sweetgum red, and then it turns them loose. Leaf and debris cleanup becomes the whole job for a few weeks — raked out of beds, off porch roofs, out from behind the shrubs where the wind stacks them. J. M. Duncan, Inc. handles that fall work along with the mowing, trimming and edging that carries the rest of the year. Growth keeps on after the color is gone, so the blades stay busy into late fall. The reward is a lawn that goes into winter tidy, its edges still crisp under the first frost.
