About Shattles Outdoor Services

By late October the mornings around Purvis finally turn cool, and the sweetgums start dropping into every fencerow and flowerbed in the county. Shattles Outdoor Services takes that season on: leaves raked and hauled, pine straw pulled out and freshened in the beds, shrubs cut back, the last mowings of the year taken down even. There is a particular pleasure in a yard put to bed properly — beds bare and dressed, lawn level, nothing left drifting in the corners. The route carries through Purvis and the nearby Lamar County communities, from in-town lots to places set well back in the pines. Come the first warm week, a yard handled that way wakes up already ahead.
