S&G Lawn Service

About S&G Lawn Service

A mowing route in Pontotoc County is really a drive through small places — Ecru, Algoma, Sherman, Thaxton — with the trailer ramps going down and coming back up a dozen times before dark. S&G Lawn Service runs that kind of day, and the last yard on it gets the same attention as the first one did. Grass at an even height, trimmer around the posts and the propane tank, hard edges cut in along the sidewalk, everything thrown back into the lawn instead of out into the street. Hedges and shrubs are shaped when they need it, and leaves are cleared once the sweetgums start letting go. Late light coming sideways across a fresh-cut yard in these hills is worth staying out for.
