Banks Lawn Perfections

About Banks Lawn Perfections

Fog sits in the Hobolochitto bottoms most cool mornings and burns off by nine, and the yards above the creek come out of it wet and green. Banks Lawn Perfections starts the route about the time the last of it lifts, mowing, edging and trimming through neighborhoods where the ground rolls gently down toward the water. Sandy loam and Gulf rain make for grass that grows in a hurry, so the difference between a kept yard and a wild one gets measured in days, not weeks. The name states the standard: a line held straight along the walk, beds cut clean at the mulch, no ragged fringe left around the fence posts. There is real pleasure in looking back at a finished lawn from the tailgate and finding nothing left to do.
