About Carver Exteriors

Late August in Pearl turns everything a heavy, humming green, and the yards along the older streets near Highway 80 need a hand keeping their shape. Carver Exteriors works the whole outside of a property — mowing and edging, shrubs squared back off the windows, beds cleared, the walkway left bare. It is unhurried work done in the hottest stretch of the year, mower engine and cicadas arguing all afternoon. The reward comes at the end, standing out at the curb where the roofline, the hedge line and the grass line finally agree with one another. A house reads as cared for from the street long before anybody reaches the door.
