About Landshark Lawn Service

August in north Mississippi does not so much cool as pause, the air thick off the Little Tallahatchie, the cicadas loud enough to drown the mower. Landshark Lawn Service works straight through it — cutting, trimming, edging the walks, keeping the weeds beaten back along the fences and bed lines where they always try first. Start early, finish before the heat wins, and leave the concrete blown clean: that is the shape of the day. When fall finally arrives the leaves get pulled off the turf so the grass goes into dormancy even instead of patchy. Come the next spring the lawn wakes up already in good order, which is the whole reason for the effort.
