About Good Earth Landscape and Design, Inc.

Turn a spade anywhere around Oxford and you find that famous red clay, stubborn in a drought and slick after a April rain, and every good bed in this county is an argument won against it. Good Earth Landscape and Design, Inc. works with what the ground gives — designing and planting beds, opening soil, mulching deep, and setting shrubs and trees where they will have room to become themselves. The mowing and edging run alongside, keeping the frame tight around all that planting. Cleanups come when the seasons hand over, clearing the beds so the next round has somewhere to go. Years later the plan is still readable in the yard, which is the quiet ambition behind all of it.
