Wheeler's Landscape Group

About Wheeler's Landscape Group

Spring comes in a hurry on the low ridges below the Tennessee line — one warm week in March and the fescue in the shade around Center Hill is asking for its first cut. Wheeler's Landscape Group meets that turn with mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup on a schedule that keeps pace with the growth rather than chasing it. Out along Craft Road the crepe myrtles come in late and the grass comes in early, and the gap between a lawn that looks kept and one that doesn't is mostly a matter of arriving on the right week. Every visit closes the same way: crisp borders at the walk and the bed, clippings off the pavement, nothing left behind but the smell of fresh-cut grass. Olive Branch grew out of cotton ground into neighborhoods, and the yards here kept that open, generous size — room enough to see the work.
